Tennis League Network runs the first ever League National tourney
Waltham, MA- The first annual National tourney of the Tennis League Network (TLN), which manages local web based tennis communities in 34 cities and metro areas, was a huge success, says TLN CEO Steve Chagnan. Held Nov. 6-8 at Crandon Tennis Center in Miami, FL, The event, played on hard courts, attracted 31 tennis participants of all tennis ablilites– all of them champions in their respective local TLN leagues.
“This was an absolute delight to run as the tennis participants were all about getting out on the courts and playing some competitive tennis” said Steve Chagnan, TLN CEO. The majority of the tennis participants who attended advanced their respective tournaments to get the right to take part in the USA tourney.
The Tennis League Network communities drive to associate tennis players who are fervent about the game in either a Tennis Partner (non-competitive format) or Flex League format. Our system keeps that the tennis participants are getting players who are close to their skill level so they are enjoying fun electric tennis connections. TLN was inspired to make this National tourney as the ideal closing for all the players who have won championships in their respective programs, said Chagnan. The 120 tennis participants corresponded most major cities, including Philly, Miami, OC, Washington DC, Metro Boston, St. Louie, Denver, Twin Cities and Los Angeles. tennis participants were grouped in mini-divisions of 5 players, and played in a round-robin using a 10 pro set format (First to win10 games). The top two players from each mini-division moved onto a single elimination tourney with other same skill-level mini-division qualifiers.
Registration begins in early January for the 2010 season for Tennis League Networks 33 online tennis communities, which are dedicated to bringing together local tennis tennis participants of every skill level — from beginners to open players– who want to participate in a lot of singles matches and make new friends.
